Our company was founded in July 2002, in which FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan was held. Around that time, the Human Genome Project winded down, and the further development of genomics was expected. In this circumstance, we have provided Japanese genomics researchers with affordable precise DNA sequencing services in cooperation with SolGent Co., Ltd. in South Korea. Meanwhile, proteomics has advanced considerably. Our company serves as the general agency of Genomine, Inc.
in South Korea for proteome analysis. Compared with genomics, proteomics has a lot of items to be elucidated, but we pursue it diligently in order to meet the expectations of Japanese researchers. As induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells were invented, tissue engineering became promising. In 2010, our company released a device for maintaining a constant temperature for cell transportation after a long period of development. This device was adopted to transport the artificially fertilized eggs of Japanese cattle at a low temperature in order to cope with the spread of foot-and-mouth disease in
Miyazaki Prefecture. From now on, we plan to polish the infrastructure technology for the safe transportation and storage of biological cells and bio products, which are vulnerable to temperature Our company will make more efforts and evolve to become a “bio supporting player,” which has been one of our corporate policies since inauguration.
